Windhoek Book Den is Namibia's largest independent book shop, located on the corner of Hosea Kutaku Avenue and Puccini Street.

Ever since Book Den was registered, on 1 March 1995, we've worked towards making sure every Namibian has access to a wide array of books.

We specialise in custom book orders, academic books and any other genre of books that occupies the collective imagination at any given time.

Our shelves cover books from Adichie to Zusak, and everything in between. We have fiction (for children, teens and adults), biographies, business books, self-help books, travel guides, nature books and whatever else you can think of.

Of course we have a Namibian section of books as well, as we are proud to promote our very own local authors.

We have in recent years also expanded our social media platforms, meaning we are now active on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

We aim not only to sell books, but to be an establishment that caters to Namibian readers and the overall reading culture in the country.
